Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Technical Lead to join our EMEA team as we expand and refine our mobile development capabilities.


In this role, you will work closely with delivery teams and manage client relationships while spearheading the design and delivery of mobile applications for global clients.


This is a hybrid position, ideally suited for candidates located near one of our offices in Newcastle, Manchester, London, Dublin, or Belfast.

Responsibilities



Create and implement end-to-end mobile architecture solutions, including frontend, backend, middleware, and web services, leveraging deep expertise in Android, iOS, and other mobile development platforms Lead the planning, design, and execution of mobile solutions, including building reference architectures, preparing cost assessments, and providing technical leadership and direction throughout the lifecycle of projects Assess client requirements and collaborate with business and technology teams to translate their digital objectives into effective mobile and digital technology solutions Facilitate client workshops, present technical recommendations, and serve as the primary technical liaison between clients, engineering teams, and support staff Define and implement best practices, standardized development processes, platform guidelines, and tools to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing mobile and digital solutions Analyze existing system architectures, troubleshoot performance issues, and recommend strategies to enhance design and optimize system performance Promote innovation in mobile and digital technologies by contributing to thought leadership initiatives, attending industry events, mentoring team members, and strengthening solution architecture expertise within the organization

Requirements



Extensive hands-on expertise in digital technologies, particularly mobile development with platforms such as iOS (Objective-C/Swift), Android (Java/Kotlin), React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a proven history of delivering and reviewing at least five architecture designs and participating in five or more pre-sales activities in the past two years Strong proficiency in Agile frameworks, including Scrum, with experience in project planning, execution, resource management, and risk mitigation Demonstrated experience in delivering mobile solutions and strategies, with strong domain knowledge in areas such as eCommerce, Content Management, Media and Entertainment, Finance, or Cloud technologies Comprehensive understanding of design patterns, performance optimization, code refactoring, and resolving system bottlenecks Professional experience in consulting or similar services, with a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and a proven ability to solve complex technical challenges
