We're looking for a

Mobile Tech Lead

to join our EMEA team as we continue to grow the practice.


In this role, you'll collaborate closely with delivery teams and manage client relationships whilst developing mobile apps for global clients.


This is a hybrid role with the ideal candidate being based near to our Newcastle or Manchester offices.

Responsibilities



Develop end-to-end mobile architecture solutions encompassing frontend, web services, middle tier and backend, leveraging domain expertise in Android, iOS and mobile development platforms Lead initiatives for defining, designing and implementing mobile solutions, including reference architectures, estimates and costing, while providing technical guidance and project direction Analyze client requirements and advise business and technology leadership on translating digital business needs into comprehensive mobile and digital technology solutions Participate in client workshops, present proposed solutions and act as a technical liaison between clients, engineering teams and support Define best practices, common development processes, platform usage and tools for delivering scalable digital and mobile solutions Review existing system architecture, perform profiling and troubleshooting and provide recommendations to enhance solution performance and design Advocate for digital and mobile innovation by authoring white papers, participating in conferences, mentoring colleagues and fostering solution architecture expertise within the organization

Requirements



Strong expertise in digital technologies with hands-on development experience, particularly in iOS (Objective-C/Swift) Android (Java/Kotlin), React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin 2+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with a track record of delivering and reviewing at least 5 architecture designs and engaging in 5 pre-sale activities over the last two years Practical experience in Agile (Scrum) project management, including planning, execution, risk and resource management Comprehensive knowledge in mobile solution delivery and strategy, as well as deep domain experience in areas like eCommerce, Content Management, Media & Entertainment, Financial, or Cloud Strong understanding of design patterns, refactoring, performance tuning, optimization and bottleneck problem analysis Involvement in consulting or professional services, with proficiency in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and demonstrated troubleshooting skills
