Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Tech Lead to join our growing EMEA team as we expand our mobile development practice.


In this role, you will work closely with delivery teams and manage client engagements while driving the development of mobile applications for global clients.


This is a hybrid position, and the ideal candidate will be located near one of our offices in Newcastle, Manchester, London, Dublin, or Belfast.

Responsibilities



Design and implement end-to-end mobile architecture solutions, including frontend, web services, middleware, and backend, utilizing in-depth knowledge of Android, iOS, and mobile development platforms Take the lead in defining, designing, and delivering mobile solutions, including building reference architectures, creating estimates and budgets, and providing technical leadership and project direction Assess client needs and advise business and technology leaders on transforming digital requirements into robust mobile and digital technology solutions Participate in client workshops, present proposed solutions, and act as a technical bridge between clients, engineering teams, and support functions Establish best practices, standardized development processes, platform guidelines, and tools to deliver scalable mobile and digital solutions Evaluate existing system architectures, conduct performance profiling and troubleshooting, and recommend enhancements to improve solution design and performance Promote innovation in mobile and digital technologies by contributing to white papers, participating in industry events, mentoring team members, and fostering expertise in solution architecture across the organization

Requirements



Extensive expertise in digital technologies with hands-on experience in mobile development, specifically in iOS (Objective-C/Swift), Android (Java/Kotlin), React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a proven track record of delivering and reviewing a minimum of 5 architecture designs and participating in 5 pre-sales activities within the last two years Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, including experience in planning, execution, risk management, and resource allocation Strong background in mobile solution delivery and strategy, with deep expertise in domains such as eCommerce, Content Management, Media & Entertainment, Finance, or Cloud technologies Excellent understanding of design patterns, code refactoring, performance optimization, and bottleneck analysis Experience in consulting or professional services, with a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, as well as demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities
