Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing towbars . This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all installations meet safety and performance standards.

Duties

Interpret technical drawings and schematics to understand assembly requirements. Assemble and fit components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues during the fitting process. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment used in the fitting process. Willing to work outside of the normal hours and weekends

Skills

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude with at least 3 years of experience in fitting towbars. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop environment is advantageous. Good communication skills are required to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Great timekeeping skills Knows how to use a phone and a booking system.
