We are seeking a skilled and dedicated mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle maintenance and repair. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and safely, providing exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations. Assemble components as required, ensuring all parts are fitted correctly. Conduct equipment repairs, maintaining high standards of workmanship. Perform heavy lifting as necessary to assist with vehicle servicing and repairs. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Weld components when required, demonstrating proficiency in various welding techniques.

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various vehicle systems. Familiarity with using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in heavy lifting tasks associated with vehicle maintenance is advantageous. Previous customer service experience will be considered an asset, enhancing client interactions. A willingness to learn new skills and techniques in vehicle repair is essential.

Pay: 20,000.00-25,000.00 per year
