Mobile Vehicle Technician - Level 3 Qualified

Newcastle will be your Home Patch - Every few weeks you will be based in Scotland
Up to 36,000 basic
40,000 - 50,000 OTE
Monday to Friday

This role offers a unique mix of freedom, responsibility, and technical variety - perfect for a skilled vehicle technician who thrives on independence and enjoys working outside the typical workshop environment.
What's on Offer for the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

Basic salary up to 36,000 (depending on experience)
Realistic OTE of 40,000 to 50,000
Bonus schemes and performance incentives
Monday to Friday schedule with overtime available
Varied daily workload - no two jobs are the same
Work autonomously while still receiving full team support

Key Responsibilities for the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

Carry out mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on a range of vehicles
Complete detailed and accurate service records
Deliver outstanding customer service at roadside, home or fleet locations
Make safe decisions on whether repairs can be completed on site or if recovery is required
Mentor and support less experienced technicians when required
Comply with health and safety standards and company procedures

Ideal Mobile Vehicle Technician Candidate Will Have:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (essential)
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
Experience working independently in a mobile or field-based role (preferred)
Confidence dealing with a wide range of vehicles and systems
A positive attitude and strong communication skills
A full UK driving licence (essential)
Experience with DPF systems or specific brand knowledge (e.g., JLR) is a bonus, but not essential
