Mobile Welder / Fabricator - Permanent Role | Competitive Salary | Maldon, Essex + UK Travel, 50000 per year
We're currently recruiting for a Mobile Welder / Fabricator to join our growing team based in Maldon, Essex. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of workshop-based fabrication and hands-on site work across recycling and materials processing plants.
The Role:
- Carrying out planned, reactive, and emergency repairs on both fixed and mobile plant
- Supporting fabrication and steel erection work in the workshop and on-site
- Working with a range of recycling and material processing equipment
- Using MMA & MIG welding techniques, as well as gas cutting and gouging equipment
- Travelling to client sites across the UK as needed - company van provided
- Have strong technical knowledge of plant and machinery
- Be experienced in MMA and MIG welding
- Have solid workshop fabrication skills using various equipment
- Be confident using gas cutting and gouging tools
- Be a good communicator and effective team player
- Understand and follow health & safety procedures
- Be flexible, reliable, and able to work to tight deadlines
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence
