Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Architecture Model Maker to join our team till mid May 2026. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude and experience in model making, with the ability to transform concepts into tangible prototypes. This role requires proficiency in various tools and techniques, including CAD software and materials handling, to create high-quality models that meet precise specifications.
Duties
- Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and ability of model making skills
- Assemble components using various methods including cutting, gluing and tooling techniques.
- Operate a 3D printer or laser cutter to fabricate parts accurately.
- Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements and tolerances for model construction.
- Collaborate with the team to refine model designs based on feedback.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Model Fabricator or in a similar role, at least 1 year of experience.
- Strong knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to model-making processes.
- Demonstrated ability in using tools relevant to model-making
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Required
- reliably commute to London studio or plan to relocate before starting work
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: 100.00 per day
Expected hours: 21 per week
