BFS Nationwide Ltd is a trusted name in high-quality, bespoke HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) products for the construction and marine industries.

We're looking for a talented Design Engineer / Fabricator with CAD experience to join our innovative and growing team. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and fabricating custom products that meet the highest standards of precision and performance. This role is more than just design engineering, it involves hands-on fabrication of the final product with the team.

What You'll Do

Interpret and work from engineering drawings to fabricate components. Carry out CNC cutting, bending, welding, and assembly to specification. Use CAD software to design and model components and new product developments. Test and refine prototypes to ensure top-quality performance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment. Support continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and quality. Produce customer drawings and accurate bills of materials (BOMs) for quotations.
Software you'll use: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Vectric Cut2D Pro, Microsoft Office.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years' experience in fabrication (plastic or steel) or an ability to learn quickly. Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar). Experience operating CNC cutting and forming machinery. Excellent knowledge of fabrication tools, materials, and processes. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Confident communicator and effective team player. Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
