Job Overview
We are looking for a Modern Apprentice who is motivated and enthusiastic about quality to join our small dynamic Technical Team. This role is ideal for an individual looking to gain valuable experience as a quality control technician in a factory setting while developing essential technical skills. This Apprenticehip offers a fantastic opportunity for personal growth and development within a supportive team atmosphere. You will be involved in conducting and verifying daily checks such a weights, temperature, calibration and labelling. You will learn about Accreditation Schemes relevant to our product, Customer Codes of Practice, Internal Audits, Food Hygiene and our HACCP system. This includes conducting audits, joining our HACCP team and being involved in tracing the product leaving our Packing Station.
As a Modern Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced QA and out Technical Manager by providing support in various QC duties whilst learning about every aspect of the day-to-day operation. You will forge close links with other departments such as production, dispatch, and packaging
Your Apprenticehip will last 2 years. You will be on site learning by various training methods including 'buddying up' with more experience members of staff. Your Training provider SRUC will regularly monitor Apprentice progress in the workplace.
We have one Apprenticeship available as Quality Control Technician
Career progression
At the end of the 2 years, if you have successfully completed your Apprenticeship and achieved the performance targets we have set for you, you will be offered a full time permanent role as Quality Control Technician

Hours and Salary
You will initially work Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00 (2x30 min unpaid breaks). However, the future will include an element of weekend working
