With nearly 25 years of experience, our Bathgate location in Scotland, UK is an integral part of Catalent's European clinical supply services network. This 141,000 sq. ft. facility has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors' studies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, including clinical supply management, FastChain demand-led supply, clinical-scale commercial packaging, and QP release services.


Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality and precision? We're looking for a dedicated

Quality Control Technician

to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of materials used in pharmaceutical clinical trial packaging.

The Role:



Inspect and sample packaging components, intermediate and formulated products, and clinical/commercial supplies against strict material specifications. Approve or reject packaging materials, pre-printed items, and medical devices based on quality standards. Handle the receipt and inspection of blank label stock and clinical supplies from clients and suppliers. Take and manage reference samples for traceability and compliance. Create and maintain material specifications for in-process visual inspections. Perform system updates and reclassifications using JD Edwards MEP. Collaborate with QA and Operations to resolve supplier issues and implement corrective actions.

The Candidate:



Experience in pharmaceutical or clinical trial packaging environments. Strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail. Skilled in inspection tools such as digital calipers, micrometers, and measuring gauges. Familiarity with sampling plans and inventory systems (JD Edwards experience is a plus).
