The Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable

Modern Apprentice Chef

to join our kitchen team and work towards a

Diploma in Professional Cookery

. You'll gain practical experience in all aspects of kitchen operations, from ingredient prep to plating, while learning sustainable, seasonal cooking techniques guided by our experienced chefs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and service during daily operations. Learn and apply core cooking techniques under supervision. Uphold kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards. Work collaboratively with the team to support service and maintain high standards. Engage fully with the apprenticeship programme and complete all required assessments.

Person Specification

Essential:

A genuine interest in food and a desire to build a chef career. Willingness to learn and take on feedback. Reliable, organised, and a good team player. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a kitchen (e.g., school, home, part-time job) is welcome but not required.
