Throughout the two years you will attend a variety of workshops and training days meeting with assessors and other apprentices to hone your skills and abilities supporting your ability to meet the programme objectives. This continual learning will be balanced with on-the-job practical experience as agreed with your Line Manager.
You will be supported at every stage of your apprenticeship, meeting regularly with your Line Manager who will highlight relevant opportunities for you to demonstrate the skills required for you to progress with your course units. This will be a collaborative relationship in which you will both meet with SQA Assessors and provide positive evidence of your achievements. You will also be provided with time away from your desk to work solely on the SVQ or enhancement. This should equate to 1 hour per week for SVQ, and 1.5 hours for the enhancement.
