Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team at The Cheshire Day Nursery Latchford. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about nurturing and educating young children in a supportive nursery environment. As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while working under the guidance of experienced practitioners, helping to create a safe and engaging atmosphere for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for all children in the nursery. Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their individual development plans. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development.

Experience

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential; a genuine interest in childcare is crucial. A background in early childhood education or nursery experience will be advantageous. Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Demonstrated leadership potential and management skills are beneficial for future career progression within the field. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes related to nursery activities or outings. Please consider you will be working within the nursery setting and completing your qualification. Once you complete your qualification you will receive a 500.00 bonus. If you then complete a year with us following the completion of your apprenticeship you will be awarded a further 1000 bonus (terms and conditions apply).

Pay: 7.55 per hour
