We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Monday to Friday Pot Wash to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring that all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils are properly cleaned and organised. Duties
Responsible for washing pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen work area in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by ensuring all necessary equipment is clean and ready for use
Organise and store cleaned items appropriately to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow all hygiene standards and procedures to uphold cleanliness throughout the kitchen
Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Familiarity with cleaning procedures within a culinary or hospitality context is beneficial
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are important for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
