We're Hiring: Monitoring Operator!

Location: Waterlooville, PO7 7AJ

Pay: 27,518.40 per annum

Hours: 42 hour work week on a rotating schedule: 4 days on, 4 off, then 4 nights on, 4 off (shifts run 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am)

and play a vital role at the heart of our Security Operations Centre (SOC). In this position, you'll ensure the smooth operation of SOC functions in a fast-paced, busy customer-focused environment.

will involve monitoring alarms, managing communications, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers, helping us maintain the highest standards of security and reliability. You will need to be able to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

You'll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

Answer all calls promptly with a high level of customer service, giving assistance to internal and external customers, including liaising with third parties and contractors, as required Effectively process alarm activations across a variety of platforms in accordance with customer-defined specifications ensuring a duty of care to all staff Manage mobile alarm call outs and provide solutions in a timely manner Monitor CCTV and respond to all customer requests relating to their alarm system and escalate issues accordingly. Experience within a control room is preferred but not essential Ensure that all systems/databases are updated in a timely and accurate manner Provide client reports

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

1+ year of customer service experience Live no more than 30 minutes away Excellent ability to handle high-volume calls effectively Can work well under pressure in a busy, changing environment Ability to multitask effectively Excellent customer service Flexibility to work days, nights & weekends The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history. Great attention to detail Strong communication skills in English--both written and spoken.
