We require an Administrator to join our growing mortgage department in a well - established and reputable financial services organisation based in Beverley. The Beverley Building Society has been established for over 150 years with an excellent reputation, yet it is dynamic and forward-thinking, focusing on both its members and its staff.
The role of the administrator will involve providing administration support to the Mortgage Manager team in sales and underwriting duties, case managing files accurately and in a timely manner and focusing on always achieving excellent customer services.
Duties
Taking enquiries from clients, brokers, and solicitors.
Updating and maintaining office systems, spreadsheets, and files.
Managing the department main mail inbox.
Dealing with correspondence and producing standard letters.
Be involved in processing all mortgage business from application stage to completion as well as providing great customer service to existing and prospective clients.
Manage cases alongside the advisers to ensure all paperwork and relevant documentation is completed and attached to the file.
Liaise with Mortgage Managers to ensure they're kept up to date on the progress of mortgage cases.
Resolve queries arising.
General office administration duties such a filing, faxing, photocopying, and answering the telephone.
Working with Mortgage Managers to ensure all activities meet compliance requirements
Skills
Administration experience within a financial services environment is an advantage but not essential, training will be given.
Excellent communication and customer services skills.
Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
Attention to detail and willing to undertake training course opportunities as and when they arise.
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative to achieve common goals and contribute to good team morale.
Full training will be provided to become a competent mortgage underwriter.
