What is the opportunity?

An opportunity to develop customer service & administration. You will form part of an energetic and friendly department with opportunities to learn new skills which may help you to progress your career within the Bank of Ireland. We are responsible for the management and administration of new and existing customer activity, from initial application, and throughout the lifecycle of the Mortgage. We are a multi skilled department, and you will be expected to interact with our customers in writing and occasionally via the telephone.

In this role you will:

  • Provide an excellent level of Customer Service
  • Be able to communicate with Customers in writing and verbally
  • Adhere to all legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements at all times
  • Develop a sound knowledge of the Mortgage process
  • Perform processing tasks to defined levels of efficiency and accuracy, working within departmental policies and procedures.

There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.

What will make you stand out?

You must have a flexible approach to the hours worked to meet fluctuating business needs and volumes. Highly developed communication skills which will include excellent verbal and written communication skills. A passion for customer service!

More about the team

The Home Buying & Ownership department is responsible for the end to end processing of new and existing mortgages consisting of all administrative tasks whilst meeting legal, regulatory, compliance and audit requirements. The department operates in a strong customer focused environment which is at the forefront of all decision making whilst handling fluctuating business volumes, increasing competition, stretching service targets and rapid change.
