We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Mortgage and Protection Administrator to support our team of advisors. This role involves managing the administrative process for mortgage and protection applications from submission through to completion, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Processing:
Prepare, check, and submit mortgage and protection applications accurately.
Liaise with lenders, solicitors, insurers, and clients to ensure a smooth and timely process.
Monitor application progress and provide updates to clients and advisors.
Client Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding documentation, updates, and queries.
Document Management:
Ensure all necessary documentation is collected, verified, and filed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on CRM systems.
Compliance and Regulation:
Adhere to all FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures.
General Administration:
Handle incoming calls, emails, and post related to mortgage and protection cases.
Assist in the preparation of client reports and review documents.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the financial services sector.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in basic maths for handling financial documentation accurately.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
