About Us

Ascendant Financial Services Support are hiring a mortgage adviser for an Ipswich based practice which is an established and highly respected financial advice firm, renowned for its client-centric approach and unwavering commitment to excellence. With years of combined experience between the Director and advisers, the team brings a depth of knowledge and trusted expertise to every client interaction.

They operate from a welcoming office in Ipswich.

You would be the only mortgage adviser but there are wealth advisers and paraplanners in the office as well making it a very collaborative working environment.

We're looking to welcome a qualified mortgage adviser to join the supportive team.

Role Responsibilities

As a mortgage adviser, you'll work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals. Your key duties will include:

Assisting clients in identifying borrowing options to suit their needs,

Advise on mortgage products,

Assist with applications, and provide support through the mortgage process.

The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, market conditions, and lending criteria from various financial institutions.

Daily tasks include client meetings, processing paperwork, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating with other team members to achieve company goals.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

Strong understanding of mortgage products and lending criteria Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in client meetings, processing paperwork, and maintaining compliance Relevant qualifications - CeMAP Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Minimum 1 years Experience in the Mortgage/financial services industry
