Job Description

I am seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join my team. You will work closely with a Senior Administrator to gain knowledge and support a Senior mortgage adviser, playing a key role in ensuring cases progress smoothly from submission through to completion.

Key Responsibilities



Compliance Case Management:


Progress submitted applications through our mortgage network systems (Sesame/SmartR365). This includes reviewing documentation, collating supporting evidence, and ensuring each case meets the required standards to achieve a full compliance pass.

Pipeline Management:


Assist in managing a busy pipeline of mortgage applications to ensure efficient progression, timely completions, and accurate matching of pay.

Application Submissions:

Submit Decisions in Principle (DIPs) Package and submit full mortgage applications via lender portals

Working Environment



This is a full-time, office-based role located at our UK Head Office in Hammersmith. You will be required to be on-site

Monday to Friday.



You must live within a reasonable commuting distance (ideally within one hour).

You will be part of a vibrant office of approximately 100 people. Capricorn is the largest independent brokerage in London, and while advisers operate on a self-employed basis, this position is a directly employed role within an adviser's team.

Excellent Organisation:


We are a high-volume brokerage, and you will be supporting two productive advisers. Strong task management and prioritisation skills are essential.

High Attention to Detail:


You will be reviewing a wide range of documents and must be able to identify inconsistencies or issues to prevent compliance risks.

Reliability & Punctuality:


You should be consistently punctual and, in the office, ready to start work at 9 am each day.

Administrative Experience:


Prior mortgage experience is beneficial but not essential. Solid experience in an administrative role is required.

Strong Technical Competence:


You will be using our CRM system, compliance platform, and various lender portals. These systems are straightforward, but confidence with computers and a quick learning ability are important.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
