Ipswich Mortgages Ltd is a successful locally based mortgage business, working in one of East Anglia's busiest estate agents offices. We are currently looking for a Mortgage and Protection Adviser to join our expert and friendly team. This position will be based in our Ipswich city centre office.

We are a rapidly growing company and are looking for someone who is self-motivated, with a desire to work hard and help expand our client base.

We are committed to sourcing and securing mortgage and insurance deals for our clients. We work in partnership with an appointed representative network, using an online platform which supports with client document management.

This is a great opportunity for the right person with uncapped leads! You will have solid mortgage and protection advising experience, and have at least two years at competent advisor status (CAS).

Duties

Meet with clients to assess their mortgage needs and financial situations Provide guidance and advice on mortgage options, terms, and conditions Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation Evaluate client creditworthiness and determine loan eligibility Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth loan processing Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, trends, and best practices Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process

Skills

Strong knowledge of basic math principles Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in mortgage lending Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyse complex financial information and make sound recommendations Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Proficient in using mortgage software systems
