Trainee Mortgage Broker

We want driven and successful sales individuals to train as Mortgage Advisers and in just 12 months, become amongst the current 100k pa, fee earners we currently have.

Trainee Mortgage Advisers will work with our experienced Mortgage Adviser and complete a number of non-advising tasks. While you are not authorised to give advice to clients until you are qualified, you are permitted to provide generic information about mortgage products and the house buying process.

PLEASE NOTE THE BASIC ANNUAL SALARY FOR THIS ROLE IS 24,000 WITH A REALISTIC ANNUAL BONUS OF 6,000. Our experienced Mortgage Advisers earn 100k+



Role Overview, until qualified:



Progress new mortgage applications using pre-defined standards and service level agreements. Proactive case progression and customer service communication by telephone, email, and letter to all involved in the mortgage progress. Ensure a high accuracy level for data entry and ongoing record keeping. Ensure workload is actioned within set SLA, whilst recording case progression. Review and validate mortgage supporting documentation. Remortgages - reconnecting with old clients, updating files with current information.

This city centre office location does not offer car parking, so this is an extra cost should you travel in by car.

Training



Where a person is new to the role with no prior experience, a training plan is in place to provide ongoing assessment on the individuals competency. This will be used to build towards taking on the full and qualified responsibilities of the role.

We are a directly authorised Mortgage Advice Company, who do not typically charge a Broker Fee, and we do not work from a small panel of lenders. So if you are an Adviser who understands exactly what that means for your clients, (providing 'Mortgage Advice' and 'not selling a fee'), then those are the 2 most important fundamental factors you can offer to your clients. Secondly, you must be offering the upmost best service wherever you can, which is what you can expect from a firm with those fundamental principles.
