MORTGAGE BROKER & PROTECTION ADVISOR \xe2\x80\x93 Residential Estate Agency

Location: Brighton, BN1

Salary: OTE \xc2\xa340k

Position: Permanent \xe2\x80\x93 Full Time

This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced and practicing Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join a busy, \xe2\x80\x9cwhole of market\xe2\x80\x9d Financial Services company, linked closely to a local independent Estate Agency with several local branches in the Brighton area.

The right candidate can take advantage of both hot leads and a well-maintained and extensive client database. The successful candidate must have previous experience as Mortgage or Financial Advisor, be fully CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified; be an excellent communicator who has great attention to detail and the ability to spot opportunities.

You must be able to demonstrate that you are self-motivated and have a proven track record of working in a targeted sales environment. More importantly, we are looking for an individual with the vision to move the Financial Services division forward and build on the current business levels, as well as having the ability to provide exceptional customer care. In order to apply for this role you MUST have CAS (Competent Advisor Status) and must be able to write Protection policies.

This is not a training role so candidates without CAS will not be considered.

Skills: The skills required for thisMortgage & Protection Advisor role will include:

• A thorough knowledge of the mortgage markets and products
• You MUST be currently involved in providing mortgage services and advice
• CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified
• Skilled at cross selling opportunities
• Smart, articulate, well-spoken & well-presented
• Excellent telephone manner and superb inter-personal skills
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• The ability to thrive in a pressurised environment
