About Us:

The Role:
We're seeking an experienced MOT professional to join our training team. You'll deliver high-quality training courses, conduct compliance audits at customer garages, and provide expert consultancy to help MOT stations maintain DVSA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Course Delivery:
Teach AE (Authorised Examiner) courses, Pre-Assessment training, and MOT Refresher courses to candidates at our training facility
Compliance Audits:
Visit customer garages twice annually to conduct thorough compliance audits and quality control assessments
Consultancy Services:
Advise MOT stations on DVSA regulations, equipment calibration, and best practices
Documentation:
Prepare audit reports, compliance folders, and training records for DVSA inspections
Customer Support:
Provide ongoing guidance to trainees and consultancy clients
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with DVSA regulations and City & Guilds requirements
Practical Demonstrations:
Conduct hands-on vehicle assessments and testing demonstrations
Essential Requirements:
Level 2 Award in MOT Testing
(minimum)
Extensive hands-on experience as an MOT tester
In-depth knowledge of DVSA regulations and compliance requirements
Full UK driving license
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Comfortable traveling to customer sites across the region
Professional, approachable manner with customers and trainees
Desirable:
Previous teaching or training experience
Experience as an Authorized Examiner (AE) or Site Manager
Knowledge of DVSA disciplinary and appeals processes
City & Guilds teaching qualification
