Motor Mechanic

to join our team and grow with us.

The Role

As a Motor Mechanic at QAVM, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a wide range of commercial vehicles. You'll be working as part of a small, friendly team in a busy workshop environment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on commercial vans Carry out routine servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards Complete MOT preparation work where required Accurately record work carried out and parts used Ensure a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Liaise with the team to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Motor Mechanic / Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred) Proven experience working on commercial vans (preferred but not essential) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently when required
