Job Summary

We are small but driven family run engineering company based in Telford, looking to expand our capabilities into electric motor rewinding. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electric motors AC/DC and a good experience rewinding. Mechanical aptitude will be necessary also to strip and overhaul gearboxes and pumps. Training can be offered in mechanical engineering, but knowledge in motor rewinding is essential.

As the candidate will be the first rewinder to join our friendly team, this creates an exciting opportunity for development, expansion and progression within the company.

Duties

Disassemble electric motors for inspection and repair. Rewind coils using appropriate materials and techniques. Assemble motors after rewinding, ensuring all components are correctly fitted. Disassemble motors & pump for inspection and repair Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain an organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency. Some on-site maintenance will be required

Skills

Proficient in motor reconditioning/rewinding Solid understanding of mechanical principles and motor functionality. Experience with CAD software advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with logic controllers is advantageous but not essential. Full UK driving license
