Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician

Location: Wimborne, BH21 7ED

Salary: \xc2\xa331,515.75 + Bonus \xe2\x80\x93 OTE \xc2\xa334,500 + Overtime

Full Time and Permanent 40 hours per week

Working Monday to Friday + Alternative Saturdays (Monday-Friday 08:30 am-5:00 pm and Saturday 08:30 am-12:30 pm on a 1-in-3 rota basis).

Working for an exciting new brand for our used car division and we have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Technician in Guildford to join their talented team.

The salary quoted of \xc2\xa331,515.75 is for a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician with the dealership experience, our client is also happy to consider candidates who are senior/diagnostic or Master Technicians and the salary will be higher for this more senior role, they can also consider an experienced Level 2 Technician but the salary will be lower.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle preparation, servicing, maintenance, and repair on a variety of makes and models
• Utilizing your technical knowledge to inspect the engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment
• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised)
• Repairing and replacing broken or defective parts to resolve vehicle defects
• Liaising with customers where necessary
• Road testing vehicles to check for faults and repairs
• Supporting other Technicians in the Workshop
• Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed
• Completing all documentation to the required standard

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• The capability of working to deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality standards
• Great team player and communication skills
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Must be Level 3 Qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• A full UK driving license
• A current valid MOT License is essential
