Prudentia Education is a alternative education independent school based in south Liverpool and we want to add a motor vehicle tutor to our growing team.
This position will be three sessions per week, each session running for 1 1/2 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality motor vehicle lessons to secondary school students.
- Practical Training: Provide hands-on training in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, using industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Assessment: Assess students' work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the motor vehicle curriculum, incorporating current industry trends and practices.
- Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all training activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe learning environment for all students.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with industry developments and best practices, and participate in relevant professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in motor vehicle engineering or a related field.
- Previous teaching or training experience, preferably with secondary school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
