This is a fantastic opportunity to join HCA Healthcare's growing Cancer Centre of Excellence, as a Specialist Treatment Planner (MR-Linac & SABR). The Harley St Clinic has an established linac-based SABR service across its fleet of Varian Truebeam linacs and in Q1 2026 the department will be going live with an Elekta Unity MR-Linac, which is currently under construction.


The Specialist Treatment Planner (MR-Linac & SABR) contributes to the day to day operation of all aspects of stereotactic treatment planning activity. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of physicists, dosimetrists, clinicians, radiotherapists, nursing staff and clerical staff. You will be trained and become locally competent in all areas within MR-Linac and stereotactic treatment planning and will support the implementation of novel and routine radiotherapy techniques. This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to expand our stereotactic service across multiple platforms and introduce cutting edge techniques and equipment.

What you'll bring:



Essential:

Degree or equivalent in relevant subject e.g. Radiotherapy, Radiography, Physics, Clinical Technology. Registration relevant to professional background (HCPC, RCT, or AHCS). Extensive experience of Radiotherapy treatment planning and checking Previous experience in Stereotactic Radiotherapy treatment planning Experience of working in a clinical environment as a treatment planner

Desirable:

Evidence of further study including through short specialist courses Experience of using Eclipse TPS and Aria OIS Experience of using Monaco TPS Experience of planning stereotactic treatments for Linacs Practical experience of using radiotherapy equipment
