We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. This position involves heavy lifting and requires effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments. Our busiest days are Mon, Fri and Sat.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently. Organise and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring all products are stored correctly. Assist in the preparation of orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy in picking and packing. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Starting times from 4am

Skills

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management. Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial. A valid driving licence is desirable for potential delivery tasks within the role. Applicants must be over 25 for insurance purposes. Vehicles are LWB 3.5T vans
