Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including heavy lifting and warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner while delivering goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and delivery times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Skills

Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of road safety regulations. Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type, with a preference for candidates holding a commercial driving licence.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage time effectively and ensure timely deliveries.
