Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Van Drivers to join our team, you will be required to use your van or our van for van deliveries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods and packages, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to manage heavy lifting and navigate various routes effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently. Load and unload items, ensuring that all packages are secured during transit. Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and signatures. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse duties when required, including sorting and organising packages.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience or no experience, all are welcome to apply. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members effectively. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
