In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that Multi-drop Delivery and Collection of palletised and parcel freight is carried out safely, efficiently and compliantly. You will be involved in scanning, loading and unloading your vehicle using a PPT. This role will be Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities:

Safely operate and drive 3.5 Tonne vehicles in compliance with all road traffic regulations. Conduct pre and post use vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly. Efficiently load and unload palletised goods using appropriate equipment (such as Tail lifts/pump trucks) and following safety protocols. Ensure accurate counting and recording of goods during the loading/unloading process. Utilise GPS and other navigation tools to navigate routes accurately and report route concerns as and when they occur. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time, including delivery notes, vehicle checks and other relevant documentation. Maintain proper records of delivered and collected goods. Interact professionally with customers during the delivery/collection processes. Represent the company positively and uphold excellent customer service standards. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as relevant industry regulations. You will be involved in scanning, loading and unloading your vehicle using a manual pallet truck. Any ADHOC work required in the yard such as pressure washing vehicles.

You will need to be flexible with start and finish times as these depend on business needs.
Technical competencies:

Valid cat B license with no more than six points is essential Experience of multi drop driving is desirable Good knowledge of road and safety regulations and traffic laws
