We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily operations. A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Safely drive the van to various locations, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the van, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Assist in managing inventory levels within the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock records are kept. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.

Experience

Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous, particularly in logistics or inventory management. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and customers alike.
