Multi Drop Van Driver
Based at Polar Speed Distribution Ltd, Unit 27 Ripley Drive, Normanton Industrial Estate, Normanton, West Yorkshire, WF6 1QT
Starting between 0600-0700, Monday to Friday
Salary: 326,200.57 based on 40 hours per week

The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world.
As a delivery and collection driver, youll make collections and deliveries to GP surgeries, retail pharmacies, wholesalers and hospitals. You will also be required to make deliveries to patients and on occasion assist them with the rotation and return of stock items, for this we are looking for applicants who can demonstrate excellent levels of customer service.
As a delivery driver multi drop youll work a minimum of 40 hours per week and must be flexible and prepared to work additional hours as and when required to meet our service requirements which may be of an urgent medical nature.
As a delivery and collection driver you may expect to work on average 40-48 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
xc2xb7Check and scan all consignments
xc2xb7Complete daily safety checks of vehicle and refrigeration unit
xc2xb7Deliver consignments on an accurate and timely basis ensuring products stay within the required temperature range
xc2xb7Ensure that records of deliveries are electronically captured and driver manifests are completed
xc2xb7Maintain daily communications to provide service updates
xc2xb7Demonstrate professional and safe driving competency at all times
xc2xb7Present a smart working appearance at all times
Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:
xc2xb7A minimum of 2 years driving experience
xc2xb7Must hold a B category driving licence (ideally no more than 3 points)
xc2xb7Previous delivery driver experience advantageous
xc2xb7Excellent communication and customer service skills
xc2xb7Ability to build effective working relationships with customers/clients, whilst appreciating the need for maintaining confidentiality
xc2xb7Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise
