Job Description
3.5t Multi-Drop Van Driver
D & F McCarthy Ltd, a family-owned and operated business for over 145 years, supplying both resellers and caterers with quality, seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables (as well as food service, frozen, and prepared produce) with a fleet of modern, refrigerated vehicles from our sector-leading operating centre optimally based just off the A47 in Norwich.
We are now looking to permanently recruit a van driver to join our expanding team to undertake daily, Mon-Sat, multi-drop deliveries in the NR, IP, CO post codes.
Requirements:
Full UK Car Licence (Manual)
A minimum of 1 year's driving experience preferred. No more than six penalty points a must. Knowledge of fresh produce as well as van driving would be advantageous but full training would be given.
Key Information:
Pay is 12.50 per hour, reviewed annually.
Average working day would be 8 hours.
Starts from around 5am.
No overnight/on-call working.
Saturday attendance bonus of 25.
Saturday rota to allow at least one off per month.
28 days paid holiday.
