We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi - Trade Builder / Carpenter to join our Project & Quoted Works Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various building projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a wide range of construction skills in a dynamic environment, supporting the realisation of residential, commercial, or industrial structures.
We are looking for a skilled tradesmen to join the team with the potential opportunity of progressing within the company to Supervisor, Managers and a carreer move off tools as and when this may be required.
Our works are across various location throughout the UK, to the role will require Driving to / From Sites, Staying Away (paid accommodation provided) with food allowance.
Require own Van - and the company will pay Mileage for this, to cover fuel and other costs. This role is on a Self Employed Bases, paid week (CIS Deducted)
Duties
Building, Installing, Repair Various Client Requirement - using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Perform carpentry and joinery tasks to construct frameworks, fixtures, and fittings
Execute roofing work, including installation and repairs, ensuring weatherproofing standards are met
Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials and components around the site
Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing or protection
Install plumbing (water feed / Waste) and fixtures as required for building projects
Undertake masonry work, including bricklaying and blockwork, to create durable structures
Assist with electrical installations where applicable, adhering to safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry or electrical work within a construction environment
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various building tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
Knowledge of plumbing systems and construction painting techniques is desirable
Experience with masonry work and electrical installations is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are preferred but not essential
