Multi-Skilled Carpenter
to join our experienced team and support our growing workload in both workshop and on-site environments.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Carpenter, you will play a key role in the
refurbishment, installation, and modification of modular buildings
. You will carry out a range of carpentry tasks while assisting with other trade duties as required to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out
first and second fix carpentry
on modular units, including doors, windows, skirting, partitions, and flooring.
Assist in the
fit-out, refurbishment, and repair
of modular buildings within the workshop and on client sites.
Read and interpret
technical drawings and layout plans
accurately.
Undertake basic tasks in other trades (e.g. plumbing, painting, etc)
Ensure all work complies with
UK Building Regulations
and
Health & Safety legislation
.
Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in line with company standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
Essential Skills & Experience
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience within
construction or modular building environments
.
Good understanding of
UK construction standards
and safe working practices.
CSCS card
(or willingness to obtain).
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work away
Desirable
Experience in modular/offsite construction assembly and refurbishment.
Additional trade skills (plastering, painting, basic plumbing, etc.).
PASMA, IPAF, or SSSTS certification.
