We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join our team, working predominantly within the childcare and education sector.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair works across nurseries, schools, and education settings. The role is hands-on and varied, ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and understands the importance of working in sensitive environments.

Duties include:

Carpentry works (1st & 2nd fix, repairs, fittings) Basic plumbing repairs and installations General building maintenance and minor works Basic electrical tasks (non-certifiable works only) Ensuring all work is carried out safely, cleanly, and with minimal disruption Adhering to safeguarding procedures at all times
What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a multi-skilled carpenter / maintenance operative Strong carpentry background with additional trade skills Experience working in schools, nurseries, or similar environments preferred Full UK driving licence Professional, punctual, and trustworthy Enhanced DBS certificate required (or willingness to obtain immediately)
