Job Description

The role is part of a team that operates on a shift basis 4 on, 4 off alternating between dayshift and nightshift. Each shift is 12 hours with a total of 1 hour unpaid break.

Reporting line is into the Engineering Team Leader.

Main Purpose of the Role

Responsible for maintaining and generating improvements across the bakery and site and working collaboratively with the rest of the Engineering team and wider site.

Roles & Responsibilities

Carry out planned routine and reactive maintenance repair work on all plants and equipment at the bakery site. Complete written reports on maintenance work carried out and identify future work. Plan and implement improvement ideas to increase the throughput and efficiency of the operating plants. Ensure the best possible resolution is achieved to those issues experienced, to meet the reliability requirements of the Bakery production schedules.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Provel electrical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
Desirable

Experience on PLC controlled process, equipment and plant Strong engineering competence on production plant and auxiliary equipment Experience with Permit to Work systems Experience with COSHH regulations Experience of continuous improvement

Qualifications

Essential

Recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship 18th edition IEE wiring regulation pass Basic food hygiene qualification

Pay: Up to 40,681.00 per year
