Position:

Multi Skilled Engineer

Hours of Work:

Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Salary:

32,500 - 37,000 per year

Location:

Bridgwater, Somerset

(10 minutes from the town centre)

The Role:

Labelling & Packaging Services Ltd are one of the leading packing companies in the UK and are a family run business offering innovative packing solutions to the food and drinks sector.

We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our valued Production team, to maintain and develop our packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Engineer team your duties may include but are not limited to:

The completion of maintenance of machinery & equipment on all the production lines. Electrical pneumatic fault finding. Liaison with the Production Supervisors to resolve production line issues and improve production efficiency. Manage the procurement of spares & parts by assisting the department locate new suppliers and better products. The completion of engineering documentation, such as COSHH assessments and risk assessments. Maintaining high quality standards. Develop new systems and improve current production lines.

Person Specification:

Previous experience of working in a production environment would be advantageous. Work well in a team environment. Be responsive and positive to team member contributions. Be flexible and adaptable within a continuous improving production environment. Have an attention to detail.
