As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join our Loanhead-based production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting and improving the performance of our high-speed manufacturing and packing operations.

Hours of Role: Monday to Friday 5.30am to 2pm

Purpose of the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our production equipment operates efficiently and reliably. You'll support daily production needs by carrying out proactive maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, and continuous improvement of machinery and site facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packing equipment Diagnose faults and repair machinery quickly and effectively to minimise downtime Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to improve efficiency and product quality Assist in maintaining the overall site infrastructure and engineering standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying technical know-how to boost equipment performance Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, food safety standards, and engineering best practices
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Multiskilled Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally food or FMCG Strong skills in both mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair Experience with packing machinery (e.g., flow wrappers, cartoners) is desirable Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to maintenance A team player with strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications & Certifications:

Time-served in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics) Recognised qualification in engineering (HNC/HND/NVQ or equivalent) 18th Edition (electrical) is beneficial but not essential
