We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi Skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team. This role will be managing 7 school sites locally, therefore a DBS will be applied for, you will be overseeing the Mechanical and electrical maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building maintenance and engineering, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Building Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all building systems and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, as part of this role, you will:
Perform planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance tasks and reactive works investigations/repairs on, but not limited to, the Low Voltage electrical systems on site
To undertake the routine PPM tasks in accordance with the SFG20 framework
Be first point of call for any emergencies - such as; boiler failures etc.
Use provided test and monitoring equipment for the purpose of maintaining engineering system operational performance and to aid fault diagnostics and repair, interrogate and adjust systems to maintain correct operation of plant and equipment
Interrogate and adjust systems to maintain correct operation of plant and equipment
Carry out electrical, mechanical and system checks associated with maintaining a compliant environment in the relevant areas in accordance with current legislation
Identify works that may have damaged and follow the damage process to recuperate costs.
Management of contractors with the support of the site manager
Complete risk assessments and worksheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation from the Clients representative
Who you are:
Experience of Engineering Services Maintenance
Qualification and experience in Periodic Inspections - desirable but not essentia
Strong teamwork skills.
Commitment and determination to meet personal objectives. Strong drive and resilience.
Good people skills; able to coach and inspire staff to embrace change.
Ability to re-evaluate priorities, responding quickly and positively to change is imperative.
Performance driven with the ability to deliver added value and assist in the improvement of operational performance
