These materials are crucial components in the production of a wide array of electronic devices, particularly in the fields of; Mobile communications, Optoelectronics, High-frequency devices etc.



About the role


During your work placement you will predominately focus on developing your skills and experience within facilities engineering. However, you will have the opportunity to rotate around the business gaining valuable experience in all areas of the business to give you a broader understanding of the company, our product and technology to widen your skillset further. There will also be an opportunity for you to support with continuous improvement projects across with site.



Key responsibilities and skills you will learn throughout your work placement;



Begin to learn to install, maintain and repair site process equipment, site services and infrastructure. Learn electrical and mechanical safe codes of practice by using manuals, schematic diagrams and testing equipment as required. Complete regular checks and inspections of all site services ensuring any discrepancies are reported. Maintain and update equipment and site service records and documentation is kept up to date as required. Carry out minor repairs and improvements to site infrastructure. To ensure legionella is controlled in water systems by completing weekly checks. Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines & procedures and to contribute to ongoing development. To be flexible and undertake other designated duties at the discretion of the Facilities Manager.
