We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and demonstrate proficiency in multiple building trades. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Construct and assemble structures using various materials, including wood, metal, and masonry. Perform electrical installations and repairs as needed. Execute welding tasks to fabricate components or repair existing structures. Carry out painting and finishing work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Install roofing systems and ensure proper waterproofing techniques are applied. Conduct plumbing installations and repairs to ensure efficient water supply and drainage systems. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Fabricate custom components as required for specific projects or repairs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Proficiency in electrical work, including installations and troubleshooting. Experience in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair. Strong painting skills with an eye for detail in finishing work. Competence in carpentry, including framing, cabinetry, and structural assembly. Knowledge of roofing systems installation and maintenance practices. Familiarity with plumbing systems, including installation of fixtures and pipework. Ability to fabricate components using various materials as per project specifications. Proficient in the use of power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders, as well as hand tools like hammers and chisels. Understanding of masonry techniques for building walls, pathways, or other structures.
