Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong trade knowledge and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance, installation and repair tasks. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the capability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You must be confident in your ability to carry out work on your own initiative. driving licence and your own transport is ESSENTIAL for this position. Job location will vary for each job. Covering all of Central Scotland. Most of our work will be in Edinburgh but you must be willing to travel further.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to complete tasks accurately. Good painting and decorating skills Previous Joinery experience Plumbing & electrical would be advantageous Tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and queries professionally. Experienced at resolving problems and finding solutions

Types of work (List not exhaustive)

- Damp treatment / Painting and decorating

- Repair or install new windows

- Kitchen & Bathroom installations

- Roof work

- Flooring

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar Handy Man role or relevant field. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Leadership qualities. Ability to maintain a clean and organised work environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.

Pay: Up to 16.45 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
