We are seeking a practical and reliable Joiner/Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the management of our warehouse facility as well as the manufacturing and preparation of our bespoke hoarding systems. This role covers the entire production process from raw material to finished product ready for site installation.
Main Responsibilities:
Interpret drawings and specifications to manufacture hoarding panels and components.
Carry out all required joinery, including cutting, assembling, fixing, and finishing.
Apply coatings and paint to a high standard to ensure a professional and durable finish.
Organise and prepare materials in advance for planned hoarding builds.
Pick, record, and replenish stock items, keeping the warehouse tidy and materials well-organised.
Manage incoming deliveries. Check materials against orders and store them correctly.
Liaise with the transport manager to plan outgoing deliveries. Load completed hoardings safely and efficiently when required.
Maintain workshop machinery, power tools, and hand tools. Conduct regular checks, report faults, and arrange repairs.
Work with health and safety in mind at all times. Ensure the workshop and warehouse remain compliant and safe.
Provide clear communication to management on progress, stock levels, and any issues affecting production or delivery timescales.
This position suits someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on joinery and logistical organisation. The successful candidate will take pride in their craftsmanship and be proactive in managing the materials and environment needed to deliver high-quality outputs on schedule. This role may include working away due to the constraints of the business as well as O/T and weekend working depending on the work load.

Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry and joinery, with relevant qualifications or trade certification.
Competent in the use of all standard carpentry tools and equipment.
Understanding of basic masonry principles and techniques (preferred but not essential).
Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that involve manual labour and lifting.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel to various site locations.
