Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of machinery and equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

Carry out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems. Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to restore production promptly. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to long-term reliability projects. Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and company procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and create a CMMS system Liaise with production to prioritise maintenance tasks effectively.

Experience

Recognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 / HNC / Apprenticeship) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in working with Reiser Machinery (HP12E, CC215, HP COEX, Bowl Choppers etc) Proven experience in working with Rex Machinery (RVFs, MCs etc) Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC fault-finding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors. Ability to work independently Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
