We are seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing facility. This role requires a versatile professional capable of handling a wide range of maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety standards. Experience in industrial maintenance, field service, and customer service is highly valued. Fluency in English and familiarity with schematics and CMMS systems are essential for success in this position.
Duties
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and repair automation systems.
Conduct welding operations, including welding, and perform repairs using various welding techniques.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities within CMMS software for tracking and reporting purposes.
Use industrial electrician experience to troubleshoot high voltage (HVAC/R) systems and low voltage electrical components safely.
Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and other industrial tools safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage, and industrial mechanic practices.
Assist in training team members on maintenance procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by expertise in hydraulics, HVAC/R, electrical systems (including high voltage), and welding techniques.
Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and CMMS management.
Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively.
Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues involving both high voltage and low voltage systems.
Experience with industrial electrician tasks and field service operations is preferred.
Knowledge of welding techniques is highly desirable.
Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery problems quickly and accurately.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
